Final Thoughts from Linda

If you’ve made it to this page, first… take a moment and give yourself credit.

You’ve taken the time to learn more about bronchiectasis and explore ways to care for yourself.

That matters.

You may be thinking, “This is a lot of information.” And you’re right. It is.

But please know this: you do not need to make a gazillion changes all at once.

Instead of starting with what you think you should do, I encourage you to begin with something that genuinely interests you or feels manageable right now. Small changes, practiced consistently, can become meaningful habits over time. Think baby steps, not giant leaps.

And perhaps most importantly, if you participate in support groups, watch my YouTube videos, attend webinars, or spend time in online communities… please do your best not to compare yourself to others.

How you feel day to day, other health conditions you may have, your energy level, your access to expert care, whether you work full time, care for children, support aging parents, care for pets, travel frequently, or simply have different priorities… all of these things influence what living well looks like for you.

There is no cookie-cutter approach to living well with bronchiectasis.

My hope is that, over time, this website helps you better understand bronchiectasis, connect with expert care when possible, and build self-care practices that support your goals, lifestyle, and preferences so you can feel your best.

I also plan to continue updating this website as new information becomes available and as I continue learning alongside this community. So please pop in for a visit from time to time. You may find new resources, ideas, and tools to support your journey.

As I’ve mentioned throughout the site, I am available for one-on-one educational consultation and coaching if you’d like additional support.

But most importantly, I want you to know: one step at a time.

You’ve got this.

You have made countless decisions throughout your life. This is simply one more: learning how to care for yourself in a way that works for you and helps you live your fullest life.

BE well,

Linda Esposito, MPH
